Great to read and meditate God’s word in ESV (English) and Japanese. Furigana (振り仮名) helps to read Kanji. But the Japanese font is too small.

The Bible was great... but as I was getting them as a gift for my Japanese friends, it was disappointing to not see the same quality as when purchased in a Store in Tokyo 6 months previous (same ISBN).I will purchase more of these Bibles, but I will try a different vendor and see if the quality is better. 3 of the 3 Bibles I purchased had page significant manufacturing defects. Likely these are the ones not good enough to sell in the store that are being re-sold at a slightly lower price than the other vendors. It seems you get what you pay for.It wasn’t missing pages, just the “error/defect” free perfection that Japanese culture takes seriously.I explained to my friends that the Bible’s were just like us... imperfect. But next time I plan to find slightly better quality.
