Great clean feeling after meals – finally a gum I actually like! I've tried a lot of sugar-free gums over the years, but most either have that weird artificial aftertaste or lose flavor in like 30 seconds. PUR Gum is different – I really like it! The flavor (I usually grab the spearmint or peppermint) is fresh and natural-tasting right from the start, and it lasts a decent amount of time without getting too hard or bland. Best part? After a meal, especially something heavy or garlicky, chewing one leaves my mouth feeling genuinely clean and refreshed – no lingering food bits or that gross coated feeling. It's sweetened with xylitol instead of aspartame, so no weird chemical vibe, and it's nice knowing it's better for my teeth too. The pieces are a good size, and the resealable bag keeps them fresh. Love this gum, the best thing is that is aspartame free, has a great flavor, do you wish the flavor lasted a little longer. But it’s a good choice if you like gum and don’t want sugar.

I’ve been using PUR Gum (Aspartame Free Chewing Gum) and I really like it overall—especially because it’s sweetened with xylitol instead of sugar. I am a testament to the benefits of xylitol because is known to support dental health by helping reduce cavity causing bacteria, lower acid in the mouth, and promote saliva flow, which helps protect enamel and keep teeth stronger. Bought this in December and a month before my orthodontist appointment, Doctor said I had no tartar on bottom or upper teeth. My 6-year-old enjoys it a lot, and I feel better letting him chew this compared to regular gum because it actually helps support his teeth. Only downside: the flavor doesn’t last long at all, maybe a minute or two, then it fades. If they improved the lasting flavor, it would easily be perfect. No texture, no gritty, tastes just like regular gum. The size is perfect. Again, just the flavor lasts 1 to 2 minutes.

It’s not one of those gums that disappears in two minutes. Another plus is knowing it’s made with simple ingredients. If you’re trying to avoid aspartame or artificial sweeteners, this is a solid option. The xylitol also makes it a good choice for dental-conscious chewing, which is a bonus. Overall, this has become my go-to gum. It tastes good, feels better ingredient-wise, and doesn’t leave me with that chemical aftertaste. I’ll definitely keep buying it.

These taste good but the flavor does not last long.

A few of my kids have pre-cavities in their mouths, meaning they don’t quite have a cavity yet, but if something doesn’t change, that’s the route those spots are headed. We already have great dental hygiene practices, so I needed something else to help. I read up on xylitol and how it can reverse these pre-cavities that are still in the enamel, improve mouth ph, and generally improve the oral micro biome. So we have started implementing 5 pieces of xylitol gum per day. The PUR brand is the best value per piece that I have found, and it has a lot of great flavors. My kids like the mint, but a few of them find it too strong. This bubble gum flavor is perfect for those kiddos. I like that the pieces aren’t too big, either. I need two as an adult, but my first grader only needs one. The ingredients are very simple, and the small packages are perfect for stashing in glove compartments, book bags, etc. The gum chews for quite a while, maybe 2 hours, without changing texture, and it’s not too sticky. We love it so far!

The name fits. When you compare the flavor to other gums, it just tastes cleaner (purer). Not in a weird chemical way, like a lack of them. I tried a piece of Trident after a few weeks of Pur and it was kinda shocking how different it felt and tasted. It was like candy, but in a fake and kinda gross way. No sugar free gum's flavor seems to last longer than 15 or 20 minutes when chewing, so there's no real shocker there. After awhile, it loses some of it's texture and takes on a not so great taste. I'll still find myself chewing long past the flavor though, that's just a me thing though probably. I'll be buying more. Pomegranate mint wasn't my thing (not terrible, just not something I'd say I "liked"), but the Natural Bubblegum is great.

When opening the pack, you can really smell the cinnamon, and the Initial flavor is very good. But this wears off very quickly. After hot even a minute most of the flavor is gone, and you are just list with some of that tingling cinnamon on the tongue when you chew. I will use them regardless as it’s not bad and it is one of the few okay priced xylitol non mint of sorts flavored gum.

This chewing gum tastes great for approximately 20 seconds! Then its just like chewing play dough.

I initially tried this out of curiosity over a year ago and did not like it, flavor ran out fast, gave me weird sensations on my tongue, and then I just never bought anymore. I was very much too addicted to the usual, "mainstream" cheaper gum, and I chewed gum to chase the flavor, breath freshening, etc.. but I realized if I'm gonna basically make chewing gum my " forever drug" I should seek long term benefits, and xylitol is what makes this gum really good, for your teeth especially. I eventually got used to chewing PUR, and I prefer it over regular gum now, it's a lot more expensive but I found that chewing in moderation, after meals, I can make a 12 pack purchase last me multiple months, so it's not too bad, give it a try, I recommend it.

looses taste after 1 minute

I found it quite hard to find anything with this much Xylitol in the UK which is why I chose to buy this product. That and the fact that I already drink enough sugar free beverages as to not want more Aspartame in me. Putting a piece in my mouth greeted me with a wonderful bubblegum flavour... For less than a minute. If you want to be specific it goes away after around 70 chews. Popping in a second one sort of alleviates this but not for long. Because of this issue and despite the fact that it contains 55 per pack I go through at least 4 a day (2 uses). Making it quite pricey compared to other gums of which I only use 1 or 2. But then why have I chosen to give it 4 stars? Because it does its job well. Yes the sweetener gone but Xylitol is clearly still there. Any hint of whatever I ate beforehand has disappeared, leaving my breath nice and fresh with a scent of lemon for some reason. Most other gums become rock hard after a while, I don't know what they put inside this but I've chewed one for up to 4 hours without noticing any major change in texture. Having something this constant is great for my ADD. There's also the suitable for vegan, peanut free, gmo free, soy free aspect of it which is pretty nifty for people with allergies but that's not really I have an issue with. Pros . A lot of Xylitol . Aspartame free . Environmentally + Vegan conscious . Despite flavour issue, can chew indefinitely . Fantastic breath afterwards Cons . Due to quantity consumed, not cost efficient .
