Easy to install camera, image quality is very good for both day and night vision. I made some windows in the side of my bridbox to prevent the camera switching to night vision on dull days. The only pain was the ethernet connector which didn't like the Cat 6 cable I'm using which is rather rigid. The connector is also rather large so I ended up tucking it under the box to keep it out of the worst of the weather. Connected the camera up to Surveillance Station on my Synology NAS for 24 hour recording.

Robust camera with sharp images...the second one I've purchased.It's worth noting that the second camera has a much newer firmware than one purchased 30 months ago, though Chrome/Edge report that the browser is too new to access the page.The included instructions are a little lacking. For instance, despite the device seemingly being set to DHCP, the only way I could log into it was via its preprogramed static IP address which is 192.168.1.10. Also, in the enclosed booklet, there doesn't seem to be any mention of the fact that there's no password when you take it out of the box - username admin.The Windows software suggested - CMS5 - did see the camera as 192.168.1.10 (not the subnet I use on my network) which was how I was able to locate it.The Android software suggested didn't work as this only functions for the WiFi model. The camera I purchased is PoE/Wired Ethernet.It's also necessary to use Internet Explorer (or IE Mode in Edge) to log in via a web browser.

Excellently robust camera, but make sure you house the "waterpoof" connector within a proper waterproof electrical connection box (which is not supplied) as it is not actually waterproof! Great quality pictures and video. I just hope my regular blue tits don't mind the new camera being there this year!I definitely recommend this item.

This is a great camera for inside a bird box. I have installed it in a swift box and although the birds haven't nested this year, the picture is very clear, both at night and through the day. I think it's the only IP bird box camera available and it's really good. Customer service is also very helpful.

Excellent camera’s. I have 5 of these now, 3 in bird boxes and 2 in hedgehog houses.They are great in the day and also in infrared.I use the extra power lead to run LED lights in the spring/summer in the bird boxes.I love the fact they are POE, which connect to my NVR or a POE switch. You need to have some knowledge of networks, ports and port forwarding if you view your camera on different software than provided. Personally, I don’t like the software with the cameras for the so use Ipcam viewer pro. I also use Hik-Connect from my NVR which is excellent for motion detect and continuous recordingEven though the delivery was super fast, I wish they were in stock on prime next day delivery, like some of the other cameras from the same company.Edit: 6th January 2020.I am returning one of the camera’s, (the last one I bought) as I moved it from an unused hedgehog house to a new bird box.While setting it up in the bird box, the tiny black screws that support the camera on bracket are fragile sheared off and I can’t get it out of the screw hole.Edit: 16th January 2020Amazing after sales service from SpycameraCCTV, I can’t fault their response and sorted the issue promptly and professionally. I would most definitely recommend this company and the camera, which has a 3 year guarantee. I will be buying more of these camera’s soon!

All good works well on hikvision nvr picture quality very good

Do not be shocked that these little cameras are a bit tricky to set up, the instructions are not great, nor is the software.HoweverThe first time i bought one of these and went to return, the customer service were extremely helpful and managed to help me get the camera working.Some fiddling with settings, some annoyance and some swearing later you get the camera to the set up that you want to use and the picture quality is very good.I have one camera that is triggered and watches hedgehogs, (a plastic plant pot around to protect from the worst of the rain) and one camera that is to be used in a birdbox.I will buy more of these cameras, although for the price you would expect them to be easier to set up, but to be honest, they are really good and worth of 5 stars when you get past the set-up pain
